With the sun setting over the sea, dinners at Majstre have become a much-anticipated experience for many visiting southern Gotland. Summer 2026 came to a close with a fully booked dining room on August 15 – a true “grand finale” to a wonderful summer.

A very warm thank you to all of you who have visited us and made the evenings at Majstre so special. We are already looking forward to next summer, when we will once again welcome you all back for dinners overlooking the sea, beautiful sunsets and truly delicious food.

Lunch will continue to be served until August 30, on a walk-in basis. Simply stop by and take a seat whenever hunger – or the craving for coffee – sets in.

The five southernmost parishes of Gotland form the district Storsudret (The Great South). Start from Burgsvik and continue straight south for about 12 km, until the sign Vacker kustväg till Hoburgen appears. Turn right and follow that road to the sea where it turns left and then continues southward. When the high limestone cliffs tower up, you have arrived at Majstre Restaurant Bar & Café.
